Ay Up!  Welcome to Lymelight, 2026.

For 13 years, Lymelight Festival has been championing Staffordshire’s buzzing grassroots music scene, celebrating the artists, the graft and the venues that keep local music alive.  Lymelight keeps Castle loud, proud and packed out every late May Bank Holiday and 2026 is no exception.

Brought to you by LoveNUL and backed by some proper brilliant partners, we’re bringing full festival vibes to Newcastle town centre.

Think bands all weekend, banging street food and artisanal sellers from Castle Artisan Market, literature pop ups from our mates at Drop City Books and free, hands on creative workshops from Arts Keele.

Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May, 12pm til 9:30pm.
